Title: Love history especially old highways and cars

Review: The book was great .. But would have been better for me if it would have a map across the top of the pages showing route and places visited . Please no more rants about wind energy without a little more research (1) They are just plain ugly blots on the landscape (2) They are not good for the environment , they are worn out before they pay their way (3)They are not recycled but are put in landfills (Casper Wy )(4) Have you noticed the big oil slicks down their towers and under them ? (5)They wouldn't even be used if it weren't for big Gov subsidies (feel good Liberal policy that hurts not helps ) (6)Besides they kill lots of birds !

Review: This colorful account of a trip across America on the historic Lincoln HIghway is an interesting addition to the literature of the road trip, in which Route 66 figures so prominently. The Model T Ford the author rode in was the ultimate conversation starter with the many people he encountered, and he identifies many "mom and pop" cafes and other businesses that would be worth a visit, even in a modern car. The Lincoln Highway is a guaranteed antidote to the generic malls with their cookie-cutter retail outlets that dot the interstate routes. I would have liked to see some maps to supplement the author's text description of the route taken.

Title: A story of the REAL America

Review: It's a great book about a leisurely drive across America and all the interesting people they met along the way. Although it was not the bone-stock Model T I expected it was a story about the real Americans and Americana not seen from Interstate Highways.
