Review: I have long felt that we males should try harder to understand the other sex -- omnipresent, loving, sustaining, nurturing, forgiving, pragmatic, often leading and challenging. The better angels of our being, so to say. This novel is another contribution to my ongoing attempt to pursue that goal, which probably began in some hazy way not long after birth seven decades ago.
